All new flavours at Pickwicks - The Claridges, New Delhi

The Claridges, New Delhi is all set to introduce discerning diners to an evocative experience, at its all-day diner, Pickwick’s; with a menu reminiscent of a luxurious past, set in lush and serene surroundings of Lutyens Delhi.  Lounge around in the cheery and sunlit surroundings and take a sweet sojourn while the Claridges team charms you with a mix of all-time classics featuring Chicken Steak Sizzler and luscious Pear & Brie Salad, from the Modern British epoch. The succulent Grilled Sea Bass with potato and olive mash, served with citrus butter will melt in your mouth. 




Done to perfection Grilled Lamb Chops with roast potatoes, asparagus and red wine jus will seduce your senses and the classic Shepherd’s Pie with mashed potatoes served with fresh house salad and artisanal bread will leave you asking for more. 


The English Battenberg Cake will most definitely put a cheerful smile on your face, Bakewell Tarts to remind you of the luxury of an English afternoon tea-time and delightful Flummery pudding to satiate your palate. These are just a few from the menu designed for you to revisit old recipes, filled with traditional surprises, bringing back many memories of unforgettable delights.

The new menu also pays tribute to the flavours inspired by Old Delhi with newly incorporated section ‘Old Delhi Cuisine’. The menu includes traditional delicacies that have been researched from over time and painstakingly curated in a medley by Tarun Dacha, Corporate Chef & Sahil Sabhlok, Executive Chef.  Old Delhi cuisine is flavoured with treasured and aromatic spices that enhance and distinguish the flavours of one community from another. The aromas of vintage Delhi cuisine are likely to transport you into the labyrinthine charm of Old Delhi lanes, redolent with fragrant flavours.

Chef Dacha’s recommendations include spicy and smooth Marvari Kadhi, Moong Dal Palak and succulent Firdausi Qorma. The iconic restaurant’s menu boasts a large selection of salads, starters, mains and accompaniments including an expansive sandwich menu. Right from a choice of fresh ingredients, the menu has been crafted to ensure a flavourful yet nutritious experience. And of course, any well thought out menu would be incomplete without an extensive section for vegetarians, Chenna Malai Koftay and Sunheri Sabzi to name just a few.
