A rendezvous with the Iron Chef at the Taj Mahal, New Delhi

Credited with introducing India to the flavours and intricacy of contemporary Japanese cuisine, like never before, Wasabi by Morimoto steps into its 10th year of culinary excellence in 2017. To commemorate the occasion, Chef Morimoto will present his exemplary knowledge and passion for food for an exclusive audience. This gastronomical journey inspired by the taste from the Island Nation, with the Master himself, will be an experience to remember!


Spread across two days, the specially curated experiences will unravel the exquisite secrets of Japanese culinary arts. Chef Morimoto will present his stellar craft in exclusive sessions of rolling sushi taking the guests through the history of the resplendent cuisine.

The visually stunning Wasabi by Morimoto, will present a host of signature gastronomic extravaganzas, helmed by Chef Morimoto where a specially curated 10th anniversary menu will be unveiled.

Wasabi by Morimoto brings Sushi Galore at The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi

Wasabi by Morimoto, the award winning contemporary Japanese restaurant at The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi presents a symphony of sumptuous Sushi rolls and Miso soup to tantalize your taste buds this summer.

The specially curated lunch menu offers an unlimited assortment of sushi roll combinations including vegetarian and non-vegetarian classics such as Spicy tuna rolls, Asparagus tempura rolls and Shrimp tempura rolls. The rolls are paired with piping hot Miso soup to enhance the traditional flavors and give patrons the experience of a true Japanese luncheon.

The sushi menu is also a part of Wasabi’s new ‘No Wastage’ initiative. The restaurant is working towards reducing food wastage for a better tomorrow and all extra food not consumed will be charged a la carte.

Visually stunning in every way, Wasabi by Morimoto offers the best of Japanese gastronomic delights. The restaurant features the most impressive repertoire of Japanese sakes with a separate sake bar, and boasts a dramatic teppanyaki and grill counter that treats guests to a vibrant display of steel and iron showmanship. The sushi bar offers fresh ingredients flown in from Tsukiji every day. The restaurant offers a private dining room that is set in the alcove of the restaurant offering gastronomic delights. This room features lovely pink onyx walls, which are lit from behind and can seat up to 8 people.
